The AstralPool halogen lighting range consists of a 300 W 12 V AC PAR56 halogen lamp, PAR56 halogen projectors for concrete and liner pools compatible with 230 mm niches, and a push-fit mini projector with a GX-5.3 50 W lamp. It is offered for spare-part and maintenance needs of existing halogen installations.
The halogen PAR56 lamp (300 W, 12 V AC) replaces PAR56 and dichroic halogen lamps. Halogen PAR56 projectors contain a 300 W 12 V AC lamp and fit 230 mm niches with the niche kits; versions are available for concrete pools with a white or stainless steel frame and for liner pools with a white frame. The push-fit mini projector contains a GX-5.3 50 W 12 V AC aluminised halogen lamp and is compatible with the 15661 wall sleeve.
Halogen projectors must always be operated under water. For new projects, LumiPlus Essential PAR56 LED lamps and projectors that fit the same niches are recommended, as they provide up to 90% energy savings and a much longer lifetime; the halogen range is mainly intended for maintaining existing installations.
