AstralPool Siberia is a compact pool water chiller with a centrifugal fan, installed in a plant room. Its 6 models deliver 4.4–22.7 kW of cooling at 27 °C air and 12 °C water; with R407C, a PVC-shell evaporator with G2 titanium coil and a corrosion-guaranteed casing, it operates down to +5 °C.
Siberia is the indoor version of the Alaska range, designed to be installed in a plant room to cool pool water. Its centrifugal fan can be connected to air ducts, so it is used in projects with no space for an outdoor unit or where the unit must stay out of sight. It operates at a minimum outdoor air temperature of +5 °C.
An LCD display, heating priority (filtration pump control) and Modbus connection are standard. It uses a non-corrosive magnesium-coated aluminium casing, a condenser of copper tubes with coated aluminium fins, a scroll compressor with crankcase heater and deoxidised copper, and a thermostatic expansion valve.
The PVC-shell evaporator with G2 titanium coil, compliant with ASTM B338.99, is guaranteed against corrosion. A de-icing thermostat on the evaporator, HP and LP safety pressure switches, a water flow switch and an anti-acid dehydration filter ensure safe, long-lasting operation.
