AstralPool Proheat II Indoor is a 43–125 kW commercial pool heat pump whose centrifugal fans allow it to be installed in a plant room with air ducts. It operates down to 0 °C outdoor air, reaches a COP of 6.0–6.5 at 25 °C air, uses a G2 titanium condenser and scroll compressor, and is Fluidra Connect compatible.
Proheat II Indoor is an indoor-installed heat pump developed for facilities with no outdoor space available or where the unit must be hidden for visual or acoustic reasons. Its centrifugal fans connect to air ducts, allowing the unit to be placed in a plant room; it can optionally be supplied for 60 Hz.
It can operate at a minimum outdoor air temperature of 0 °C. The easy-to-use digital control panel shows the current temperature, set point and alarm messages; it offers heating priority (filtration pump control), control of the treatment system, automatic de-icing and, on the chiller model, an automatic cooling mode.
A corrosion-resistant lacquered magnesium-coated aluminium casing, condensers with G2 titanium water exchangers, a scroll compressor, a thermostatic expansion valve with external equaliser and, for corrosive environments, an evaporator coil with lacquered aluminium fins on internally grooved copper tubes are standard. HP & LP safety pressure switches, a water flow switch and automatic electrical protections ensure safe operation.
