AstralPool ETNA is a titanium plate heat exchanger that heats pool water from an existing hot-water source such as a boiler, geothermal or district heating system. It comes in 16 sizes from ETNA-15 to ETNA-580 and in 3 versions: bare, equipped with full regulation, and complete with a primary circulation pump.
ETNA is a plate heat exchanger with corrugated plates that transfers heat from the hot water in the primary circuit (boiler, geothermal, solar or district heating) to the pool's secondary circuit. Plates are AISI-316 stainless steel or titanium, gaskets are EPDM and the frame is epoxy-painted carbon steel; the plate design gives high heat transfer in a compact body.
On the bare model the connections are ISO G2 direct-threaded AISI-316 stainless steel. On the equipped model the primary connections are copper and the secondary connections PVC; it provides full regulation and control of the filtration pump, and a dual display shows the set point and current temperature together.
A simple circulation pump on the primary circuit is optional; the complete equipped model includes it. With 16 sizes from ETNA-15 to ETNA-580 it suits a wide range of applications from residential pools to large public pools; the exchanger size is selected according to the primary water temperature and the pool's heat demand.
