The Zodiac TRX Vortrax series are tracked corded robots designed for intensive use in medium-sized public pools of hotels, residential complexes, campsites and sports centres. The TRX 8500 iQ cleans pools up to 20 m long and the TRX 8700 iQ, with ultrasonic sensors and a 150/60 µ filter, pools up to 25 m long using Sensor Nav System™.
Vortrax is fitted with heavy-duty equipment for professional use and a twin-motor tracked drive with a reinforced gearbox. Sensor Nav System™ builds a pool-specific cleaning route; on the TRX 8700 iQ, ultrasonic sensors detect walls and obstacles so the robot turns safely around ladders, steps and in-pool equipment. Ultra-powerful, long-lasting vacuum and Contact+ and ZZ brushes provide uninterrupted cleaning under heavy soiling.
Multiple cycles adjustable from 0 h 30 min to 6 h cover quick (floor only, 1 h 15 min), smart (floor / walls / waterline, calculated time) and ultra (2 h 45 min) modes. With a 7-day timer and start delay of up to 3 hours, the robot is scheduled to work while the pool is closed; the mobile app offers remote control and pool water temperature monitoring.
The 5-litre top-access rigid filter chamber, filter-full indicator and Lift System shorten maintenance time. Powered at a low voltage of 30 VDC, the robot is used safely in public facilities with poolside and out-of-water safety, diagnostics and electronic motor protection.
