The large-body version of Kivu is a high-efficiency plastic centrifugal pump running at 1500 rpm for public pools that need high flow rates. The series comes in three powers, 7.5 HP, 10 HP and 15 HP, with 230/400 V and 400/690 V three-phase motors.
Noise drops to as little as 66 dBA, and hydraulic efficiency without pre-filter is 85 % according to ISO 9906. A high-quality mechanical seal suitable for seawater and an IEC high-efficiency (IE3, Premium Efficiency) motor are used.
The standard motor shaft is compatible with motors from any manufacturer. The GS-marked pump has a 150–6" suction and 125–5" discharge port and is shipped with its pre-filter in two packages (pump + pre-filter).
