In this private villa project in Erbil, Iraq, all works beyond rough concrete construction were carried out by Artemis Pool & Fountain Systems. The electromechanical design, mechanical piping installations, filtration systems, automated pH and chlorine dosing, UV disinfection, spa heating system, waterproofing, fine architectural finishes, and all tile cladding were completed in accordance with international engineering standards.

Existing structure prior to indoor swimming pool execution.
Before commencing work, the existing structure was inspected in detail and all technical analyses required for the indoor pool and hydromassage systems were conducted. Reinforced concrete condition, elevation levels, mechanical piping routes, and plant room layouts were evaluated with an engineering approach.
In indoor pool projects, not only visual aesthetics but also water circulation, hygiene standards, energy efficiency, and long-term operating performance are of vital importance. Therefore, all system components were replanned to form a sound technical foundation.
Based on the technical analyses, equipment and mechanical systems were engineered to maximize user comfort, simplify servicing, and provide decades of reliable operation.

Electromechanical engineering drawings for indoor pool and spa basin.
Following technical diagnostics, all electromechanical systems for the indoor swimming pool and hydromassage basin were completely redesigned. Filtration sizing, pipework infrastructure, machine room organization, automation controls, and disinfection systems were custom-engineered.
Throughout the design phase, energy efficiency, minimal operating costs, peak water hygiene, and ease of maintenance were core criteria.
Execution proceeded in strict accordance with the approved engineering schematics across mechanical piping, plant room assembly, and architectural finishing works.

Mechanical piping and filtration infrastructure execution.
Keeping indoor pool water crystal clear and hygienic depends entirely on correctly engineered mechanical systems. The swimming pool and hydromassage spa were designed independently with dedicated equipment to ensure optimum circulation and filtration performance for each.
Pipe sizing was calculated to minimize friction head losses. Equipment was organized neatly for straightforward routine inspection, delivering high efficiency and enduring durability.
The hydromassage spa basin was equipped with high-pressure, balanced jet manifolds providing bathers with an ergonomic hydrotherapy massage.

Substrate leveling and surface preparation prior to fine construction.
Following mechanical rough-ins, architectural fine construction commenced. All substrate surfaces were prepared to exacting standards for multi-layer waterproofing, leveling screeds, and porcelain tile adhesion.
Waterproofing is paramount in indoor swimming pools. Multi-layer elastomeric membranes protect the concrete structure permanently, while flexible tapes around pipe penetrations guarantee absolute watertightness.
With substrate preparation finalized, the entire basin was prepped for porcelain tile installation.

Professional plant room and mechanical equipment installation.
A dedicated mechanical plant room was organized for the swimming pool and hydromassage basin. Filtration units, pumps, chemical dosing systems, UV sterilizers, and electrical controls were arranged methodically for effortless maintenance access.
The plant room layout provides generous service corridors around all pumps and filters. Low head-loss manifold designs reduce pump motor strain and lower operational electricity consumption.
The installed mechanical infrastructure ensures maximum hydraulic efficiency, continuous water purity, and whisper-quiet operation adjacent to living quarters.

Final preparations and quality control of cured waterproofing membrane.
The foundation of long-term indoor pool durability is flawless waterproofing. In this project, high-performance elastomeric waterproofing was applied across all basins, preventing moisture penetration into the concrete shell.
These rigorous preparations ensured a solid, impervious substrate allowing porcelain tiles to remain bonded without deformation for decades.

30x60 cm porcelain tiling and natural green marble architectural cladding.
One of the standout design elements is the harmonious blend of organic natural stone aesthetics with high-performance pool porcelain. 30x60 cm beige porcelain tiles line the pool interior, while surround terraces and perimeter coping feature velvet-textured natural green marble.
Porcelain tiles provide near-zero water absorption and superior chemical resilience, while natural green marble creates a prestigious, warm spa atmosphere.
Laser-calibrated joint alignment and smooth transitions deliver refined architectural harmony throughout the pool hall.

Automated water chemistry regulation and UV disinfection system.
To maintain impeccable water hygiene in an indoor environment, advanced automatic sanitization systems were deployed: combining automated pH regulation, chlorine dosing, and ultraviolet (UV-C) sterilization.
The UV system destroys bacteria, viruses, and combined chloramines without chemical byproduct odors, while automatic dosing keeps water chemistry perfectly balanced.
Integrated with the filtration system, this dual-barrier sanitization provides a safe, odor-free, and skin-friendly swimming experience year-round.

Heated hydromassage spa basin and hydrotherapy systems.
Designed as a complementary wellness feature adjoining the indoor swimming pool, the hydromassage spa basin provides therapeutic relaxation. Seating ergonomics, jet configurations, and water velocity were engineered for optimal relief and comfort.
A dedicated heating circuit keeps spa water at an ideal therapeutic temperature, while high-velocity hydro-jets stimulate muscle relaxation in a sanitized, crystal-clear setting.

LED underwater lighting and ambient architectural atmosphere.
Following mechanical and civil completion, underwater LED luminaires were positioned to accentuate the natural green marble surfaces and beige porcelain interior.
Strategic lighting design gives the pool hall an enchanting visual identity day and night while maintaining low energy consumption.
Upon completion, the project delivered a state-of-the-art living and wellness environment distinguished by aesthetic design, robust engineering, and immaculate hygiene standards. The indoor swimming pool and heated spa operate seamlessly for 4-season comfort.
With 30x60 cm beige porcelain tiling, natural green marble cladding, commercial sand filtration, automated pH/chlorine dosing, UV disinfection, and heating infrastructure, the project reached world-class benchmarks in both architecture and mechanical durability.
From electromechanical design to mechanical piping, waterproofing, masonry finishes, and system commissioning, the entire scope was completed turnkey by Artemis Pool & Fountain Systems.
All mechanical systems for the indoor pool and hydromassage spa were engineered in compliance with international swimming pool standards.
Filtration capacity, pump flow rates, and pipe sizing were optimized for maximum water turnover with minimal energy draw.
The automated pH/chlorine dosing unit works synergistically with the UV-C system to maintain continuous water purity with minimal chemical odor.
