Hydroxinator® iQ is the heart of the patented MagnaPool® system, operating by magnesium mineral electrolysis. It provides crystal-clear water that does not irritate skin or eyes; with 10–35 g/h output it serves pools up to 160 m³ and features equipment control and iAquaLink™ Wi-Fi connectivity.
During electrolysis, MagnaPool® minerals are converted into magnesium hydroxide in the pool water; this soft, silky compound acts as a natural clarifier that captures even the finest contaminants. As a result, the formation of chloramines — which cause unpleasant chlorine odour and skin/eye irritation — naturally slows down, and the use of chemicals, water and energy is reduced.
For exceptional water, Hydroxinator® iQ, MagnaPool® minerals and Crystal Clear glass filter media are used together; for a complete ecosystem it can be combined with an MS filter and a FloPro™ VS pump. The unit has the same equipment control, TFT display and pH Link / Dual Link module compatibility as the eXO® iQ.
A single unit controls the filtration pump (single-speed or Zodiac® variable-speed) and, through 2 auxiliary outputs, the heater (temperature set point and heating priority) and lighting (Zodiac® NL LED colour selection) or any other device. It has 2 chlorination timers over 24 hours, 2 single-speed or 4 Zodiac variable-speed pump timers and 1 timer per additional item of equipment.
