The AstralPool fibreglass-framed square suction grate is a large drain cover with a fibreglass resin support frame and a stainless steel or plastic grate. It comes in 345 × 345 mm and 490 × 490 mm sizes, is compatible with the 25344 and 28556 anti-vortex covers and is used in concrete pools.
Offered with stainless steel or ABS plastic grates, the product has a support frame made of fibreglass resin. The large grate area helps keep the suction velocity below the 0.5 m/s limit on high-flow main drain and balance lines.
It is compatible with the 25344 and 28556 anti-vortex covers; when required the grate can be replaced with these covers to upgrade the installation to EN 16713-2 requirements.
