The AstralPool polyester main drain with anti-vortex cover is an EN 13451-1-3 compliant drain solution whose domed cover prevents vortices and body/hair entrapment. It comes in 415 × 415 mm (70 mm high) and 570 × 570 mm (60 mm high) sizes, and its smooth slopes stop pool robots from getting stuck.

The AstralPool polyester main drain with anti-vortex cover is an EN 13451-1-3 compliant drain solution whose domed cover prevents vortices and body/hair entrapment. It comes in 415 × 415 mm (70 mm high) and 570 × 570 mm (60 mm high) sizes, and its smooth slopes stop pool robots from getting stuck.
The anti-vortex covers have smooth, sloping surfaces specially designed so that pool robots and cleaners do not get stuck. The anti-vortex plate is a special component fitted to the suction line that controls flow turbulence and lowers the fluid velocity, preventing cavitation and entrapment risk under UNE-EN 13451-3.
The 415 × 415 mm anti-vortex cover (25344) is compatible with the existing 20282, 20283, 20284 stainless-grate and 22359, 22360, 22361 ABS-grate main drains. Covers 25344 and 28556 can also replace the 28560–28563 fibreglass-framed square grates, bringing old drains into EN 16713-2 compliance without removing them.
