Counter-Current Systems
The AstralPool counter-current control panel is an electro-pneumatic box that lets the jet stream pump be started with the pneumatic button on the nozzle front plate. It is offered in separate codes for five pump ratings, from 1.5 kW 230 V single-phase up to 4 kW (5.5 HP) 400 V three-phase, and weighs 1.2 kg.
In counter-current systems the pump is started by the user in the pool. When the button on the nozzle front plate is pressed, the electro-pneumatic control panel detects the signal arriving through the air line and engages the pump contactor; there is no electrical connection inside the pool.
The panel is selected according to the rating and supply voltage of the pump it drives: separate models are available for 230 V single-phase 1.5 kW and 2.2 kW, 400 V three-phase 2.2 kW, 230/400 V three-phase 2.6 kW and 400 V three-phase 4 kW pumps.
