Zodiac PowerFall is a wall waterfall made of 100% ABS plastic whose patented X-Baffle internal structure delivers a homogeneous, continuous flow; it suits every pool type. It comes in 30, 46, 61 and 91 cm widths with a 3-year warranty.
Its transparent plastic body blends with the pool design whatever the pool's shape and colour. It is easy to install during pool construction, takes its water directly from the filtration system's discharge line and produces a soothing sound.
The catalogue gives the flow required for water falling 1 m from the pool wall as 5.5 m³/h for 15 cm width, 7.0 m³/h for 30 cm, 11.5 m³/h for 45 cm and 15.0 m³/h for 60 cm. Use 50 mm pipe below 16 m³/h and 63 mm at 16 m³/h and above; approximate flows by pump power are 13 m³/h at 3/4 HP, 16 at 1 HP, 22 at 1.5 HP and 30 at 2 HP.
The waterfall must be installed no more than 1.2 m above the water level. Use a separate valve for each cascade; a ring main is recommended to balance flow between cascades of the same size and height. Prepare a recess 11 cm deep and 2.5 cm longer than the cascade in the wall, then set the waterfall in a mortar bed and level it.
