Pool and Spa Blowers

Blowers are designed for spa, bath and hydromassage applications where a continuous stream of air bubbles is required at medium and high flow rates. They can also be used to aerate the filter sand bed, for example in backwashing operations that need a low-intensity air flow.

The housing and impeller are injection-moulded in aluminium alloy and the motor shaft is stainless steel; the dynamically balanced impeller is mounted directly on the motor shaft. The continuous-duty three-phase and single-phase motors have IP54 protection and Class F insulation in line with CEI 2/3 1988. Single-phase models are built for 100–120/200–240 V and three-phase models for 200–240/380–440 V.

The blower can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Because there is no friction between moving parts, it needs no lubrication or maintenance and the parts are not subject to wear. The maximum operating temperature of the turbines is 40 °C; they must not be used with flammable or explosive gases.
