Olimpic Pool
Swimming pools offered for competition or training purposes worldwide are called Olympic swimming pools. They are pools built in accordance with “FINA” standards for national and international competitions.
Filtration and disinfection installation in Olympic swimming pools should be done in accordance with TS13661 standards. In order to hold an international competition, pool sizes, material and equipment brands to be used must comply with FINA rules. National and international competitions are not allowed in pools that do not comply with FINA rules.
Freestyle, breaststroke, back swimming competitions, synchronized swimming, flag, water polo competitions can be held in Olympic swimming pools. Jumping platforms in Olympic pools are manufactured as 40 cm 70 cm according to the way the pool short edge is built. Long Course Swimming Pool
Long Course swimming pool dimensions should be 50 meters. However, if we consider the thickness of the touchpads as it will be used for competition purposes in accordance with FINA rules, our pool size is clearly 50.03 meters. If the pool is to be planned with 8 lanes, it should be 25 meters and 26 meters if it will be planned with 10 lanes.
Short Course Olympic Swimming Pool
Short course olympic swimming pool dimensions should be 25 meters. However, if we consider the thickness of the touchpads as it will be used for competition purposes in accordance with FINA rules, our pool size is clearly 25.03 meters. Pool length may vary depending on the number of lanes to be planned. If it is planned with 5 lanes, it should be 13.5 meters and 16 meters if it will be planned with 6 lanes.
